Recruiting Consultant
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Livonia and Cincinnati Offices


Job Summary:
The Recruiting Consultant will inform potential candidates of position opportunities that exist at our clients companies. In most cases, you will work directly with the clients. You will identify candidates that are both qualified and culturally-fit for our clients’ company by obtaining detailed information about the candidate and providing the candidate with the appropriate information about the position and the hiring company. The Recruiting Consultant will have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to establish personable, respectful, and trusting relationships with potential candidates. These relationships will result in using your strong persuasive communication skills to generate interest from the candidates and fill our client’s positions. The Recruiting Consultant is client service focused and will be instrumental in filling positions of all capacities in companies of all industries.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for recruiting qualified candidates for an assigned
  number of projects.
• Establish personable and respectful relationships with candidates to
  educate them about the history and the cultural background of the hiring
  company.
• Will communicate details of the position to prospective candidates. This
  will include; position description and responsibilities of position.
• Responsible for implementation and oversight of the recruiting project
  objectives.
• Will interact directly with managers, BDO’s and clients on specific
  assignments.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be organized and
  detail-oriented in order to fill positions efficiently to meet clients’ needs.
• Will prioritize client assignments based on deadlines and client urgency.
• Must be able to “sell” opportunities to prospective candidates to meet   recruitment goals.
• Responsible for continual client feedback and updates concerning
  recruiting assignments.
• Reports directly to the Recruiting Director where status of recruiting
  assignments and candidate development will be communicated daily.
• Must be able to work in a “team” atmosphere where the overall objective
  is to meet our clients’ recruiting deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Competencies:

• Minimum (1-3) years recruiting experience in a professional environment.
• Client service focused.
• Driven attitude that thrives success.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and interest in the recruiting industry.
• Strong phone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fluid environment on a variety of projects daily.
• Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• PC Recruiter experience preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent experience.
