Welcome to the first Qualigence Quarterly Newsletter. Many of you receiving this newsletter are clients, others are simply professionals that we think would benefit from receiving our newsletter. From the beginning stages of its creation, it was decided that the objective of our newsletter is to be a resource tool that is informative, educational, and include ideas, and tips relating to the recruiting industry. You will find information on current trends, current recruiting statistics, and ideas and resources that may be useful in your own recruiting environment. Qualigence also works closely with other vendors in the HR arena to benefit our clients. Our quarterly newsletter will occasionally highlight a specific vendor. As a business partner to Qualigence, we endorse their services and recommend them to our clients.

As an informational and factual resource, this area of the Qualigence Quarterly will provide relevant statistics and industry information. As an industry expert, it is our duty to provide the most current information about the HR industry specifically in the recruiting, hiring, and staffing areas. When appropriate and applicable, this section of our newsletter may focus on a statistic in a specific topic. Reports and articles are written daily about recruiting and hiring. Outsourcing is also a popular topic with the increased usage of RPO’s. Attached are a few current articles containing some data that may be resourceful to you and your company.

Community involvement is an important initiative at Qualigence. After a lengthy review process, Qualigence selected Pathway Family Center as the organization that Qualigence would partner with and provide support to their mission. The objective of the selection process was to identify a non-profit organization that would benefit by the industry and experience in which Qualigence operates.

Pathway Family Center, with offices in Southfield, MI; Milford, OH; and Indianapolis, IN, is a substance abuse treatment center for adolescents, and has been serving families since 1993. They provide drug screening, substance abuse assessment and referral, out-patient services, and a unique long-term treatment program. Most importantly, they are a family centered facility that focuses on teaching adolescents coping strategies, life skills, and strengthening both individual and family relationships....
